NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Waterford Township Board of Supervisors, Erie County, Pennsylvania, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. at the Waterford Township Municipal Building, 12451 Circuit Street, Waterford, PA 16441, to consider the following Conditional Use Applications:
- French Creek Energy, LLC has submitted an application for a Principal Solar Energy System on properties identified as Erie County Tax Parcel No. 47-033-086.0-005.00 and 47-033-053.0-014.00, being owned by the Spotts Family Joint Living Trust.
- Kiara Salusky has submitted an application for a Home Occupation at the property located at 13425 Dorman Road, Erie County Tax Parcel No. 47-022-052.0-001.00.
Copies of the applications are available for public inspection at the Waterford Township Municipal Building during regular business hours.
Waterford Township is a small rural community located in southern Erie County, Pennsylvania. The Township consist of 50.22 square miles and has a population of approximately 3,920 residents. The Township maintains 72 miles of roads; 34 miles of State maintained roads. We’re located in the Fort LeBoeuf School District.

Zoning Permits are required for all structures built in Waterford Township. Please call the Zoning Administrator, 814-796-3413, with any permit questions BEFORE building anything or locating a manufactured building on your property. This includes sheds and any pools with a depth of more than 24 inches. A list of permits, fees, and forms are listed under Forms/Permits at the top of the page.

Planning Commission Meetings
4th Thursday of each month, at 6:00 p.m. Subdivision maps seeking final review must be turned in with payment at least one week prior to scheduled meeting. If you would like to be placed on the agenda for public comment, or preliminary review of plans, please contact the Zoning Office to be placed on the agenda at least one week prior to the scheduled meeting.
