As some of you are aware we are beginning the journey to create a new comprehensive plan for Waterford Township.  The Comprehensive Plan is the Township’s long-range policy plan developed in accordance with Article 3 of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code. Our current comprehensive plan and zoning ordinance was enacted in 1990, and long overdue for an update.

As residents this is your chance to shape the future of Waterford Township.  We will be putting a future cast of the Township together, as well as reviewing and creating a new zoning ordinance.  We are currently looking for residents who wish to be on our comprehensive plan committee. Meetings will be once per month and available by zoom or in person. 

Our first informational meeting will be held Tuesday, October 17, 2022, at Stancliff Hose Company, located at 328 High Street Waterford, PA , at 6:30 p.m.
